Local Authors Supporting Indie Bookshops in Connecticut on Small Business Saturday

For Small Business Saturday, local authors will be volunteering as booksellers at independent bookshops throughout Connecticut.

If you’re wondering who came up with this brilliant idea to bring authors and readers together in support of their favorite indies, it was Sherman Alexie, author of “The Absolutely True Story of a Part-Time Indian,” among others. Last year, he urged fellow authors to give their time to the shops that support them. This year, Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer are leading the charge with this open letter at the American Booksellers Association’s website.

So who is going to be where, and when are they going to be there? Here’s the list so far, and if you know of an author-bookstore combo I’m missing, please let us know in the comments!
