RNVA Partners with Glen Crest and Danbury Eye Physicians & Surgeons to Provide Hearing Talk

Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) is organizing an informative talk on the subjects of hearing loss and the importance of hearing testing.  Elaine Raccio, a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at Danbury Eye Physicians & Surgeons, will deliver the talk at Glen Crest, an independent living community in Danbury, on Wednesday, February 11, from noon to 1:30 pm.  Ms. Raccio will explain how the ear functions in regard to hearing and hearing loss.  She will explain why it is important to have a baseline hearing test and why the results should be kept on file.  She will also discuss what to expect at a hearing test appointment and how to understand the results of the hearing test.  Additionally, she will provide a review of current hearing aid technology.  This event is open to the public and lunch will be provided by Glen Crest.  Attendees should RSVP to Glen Crest at 203-790-9161. Glen Crest is located at 3 Glen Hill Road.
