Super Super Bowl Sunday for Sledding in Ridgefield

Thanks for Ridgefield resident Jennifer Flagg for snapping this photo of the beloved Veterans Park "sledding" hill and sharing with us! Today was a super Super Bowl Sunday for sledding. Thirty-plus temperatures made it feel "spring like" (dare I say).

Brace yourselves...heavy snow is headed our way. Many area school districts have already cancelled school for tomorrow, including Danbury. We will let you know about Ridgefield as soon as we hear!

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 7:00 pm this evening to 6:00 pm Monday.
