Keeler Tavern Museum Asks for Sale Donations
Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main St., Ridgefield, is seeking donations and consignments for the 20th Annual Antiques and Treasures Sale in early August. The Museum is seeking furniture in good condition, and accessories such as rugs, vintage textiles, lamps, works of arts, mirrors, silver, glass, china, etc. In addition, acceptable items include wrought iron, wicker and rattan garden furniture, as well as interesting collectibles, such as Civil War Items. However, it cannot accept sofa beds, clothing, appliances, exercise equipment, or contemporary books. Acceptable furnishings and accessories must be clean and in good condition. All donors will receive tax letters acknowledging their gifts for tax purposes.
The Antiques & Treasures Sale will be held Friday and Saturday August 7th and 8th from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday August 9th from 12 noon to 5 PM. Admission is free except for Early Buying Friday August 7th from 8 AM to 9 AM which is $10 per person. Parking is available on site or at the Congregational Church across the street.
