20th Annual Antiques & Treasures Sale at Keeler Tavern Museum is this Weekend!

Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT,  celebrates the 20th year of its exciting Antiques & Treasures Sale on August 7th to 9th. The dates and times for this free event are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, August 7th and 8th, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 9th.  Early buying is available on Friday, August 7th from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for a fee of $10 per person. Free parking is available on the premises and across the street at the First Congregational Church.

The three day show brings together beautiful and classic furnishings from the 18th to 20th centuries along with popular mid-century furniture.  The proceeds of the show will help to support the Museum’s programs and educational initiative.

Come! Join the throng and walk through the elegant Garden House and survey the beautiful room vignettes where everything is for sale, including the oriental carpets, furniture, china, crystal, linens, silver, mirrors, lamps, a collection of clocks, and paintings. In addition, the Garden House also showcases fine estate jewelry, collectible books, vintage dolls, metal soldiers, and other collectibles.

Next, continue your walk to the tented terrace and you will find country and more contemporary furniture suitable for apartments and dorm rooms.

Then, continue your visit by strolling through the famous Cass Gilbert (architect of the Woolworth Building) walled garden and admire the flowers while examining the outdoor furniture on sale. Finally, if you are searching for affordable items for your home, walk to the red Cass Gilbert Barn which features vintage clothing, purses and accessories, as well as an array of donated treasures.

Discerning buyers are sure to find wonderful antiques and treasures at reasonable prices.
