The State of Connecticut has recognized BMW of Ridgefield as the state's leader in electric vehicle sales. In 2015, BMW of Ridgefield sold more electric vehicles than any auto dealership in Connecticut.
Connecticut offers a host of EV (electric vehicle) purchasing incentives including rebates and also offers EV charging station incentives to municipal and state agencies and private businesses. In addition there are multiple federal and state programs that offer additional incentives. BMW of Ridgefield owner, Ed McGill received the prestigious "Electric Vehicle Champion Award" from Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy last week in Hartford at the Connecticut International Auto Show.
