All things mushroom will be celebrated and explored on Saturday April 30 10am-1pm at Henny Penny Farm. Local mushroom expert, Alec Gifford, will lead a hands-on workshop where participants will create their own little log to grow mushrooms at home. Then, learn how to create easy and delicious mushroom dishes in a cooking demonstration and tasting with Chef Frank, owner of Ridgefield's ever-popular Sucre Sale restaurant.
Grab your friends and bring them to this fun day to learn a little and eat a little while strolling the farm among bouncing spring lambs and peeping chicks. Participate as much or as little as you want, just come and be a part of the festivities!
