New Thai restaurant to open on Danbury Road

A new Thai restaurant called Bangkok Republic is opening on Danbury Road next to Toozy Patza. The owner Jarupan Krairiksh hopes to open the doors in the next two weeks, but will try to complete the website this weekend. This is not her first venture in the food industry. Krairiksh also is one of the owners of a Thai restaurant in Hamden, CT called Bangkok Boulevard. It received a positive review from the New York Times around last Christmas that praised the restaurant for its reasonable prices and bold Thai flavors.

Bangkok Republic’s chef and crew are all Thai, so the experience will be authentic. The restaurant also has an impressive amount of gluten free options. Almost anything on the menu can be customized, and most of the classic Thai dishes they serve, including Pad Thai and the curry dishes, are already gluten free.

Bangkok Republic’s address is 991 Danbury Rd. Wilton, CT.
