Partnership with School Webmasters
As part of Ridgefield Public Schools’ efforts to provide students, staff members, parents and community residents with consistent, current, and meaningful communication, we are pleased to announce our partnership with School Webmasters, a website development and management company. We look forward to providing our district and schools with new responsive, and beautifully designed websites. In addition to the redesigns, School Webmasters will also be keeping our websites updated with the most current news and announcements.
As part of our relationship with School Webmasters, Ridgefield Public Schools will also be utilizing their PR4 Schools service line which includes social media and communications coordination and management. As part of this service, School Webmasters will seek out and employ a local Communications Coordinator, who will gather and generate relevant, meaningful communications to provide to our community. The Communications Coordinator will work onsite approximately one day a week collecting stories, planning activities, coordinating and implementing school communications plans, and gathering photos. In connection with School Webmaster’s social media coordinator, website/graphic designers, and copy editors, the Communications Coordinator will provide practical, relevant, and timely communications to our community.
Bonnie Leedy, the CEO of School Webmasters, is assisting with the selection for this new position here at Ridgefield. She said, “We are so excited to be working with Ridgefield to help them expand their communications and public relations. It takes a lot of coordination to be sure all the great things that are happening within the walls of our schools get shared with parents and the community. This role will be so critical to making this happen.”
Robert Miller, our IT Director, will work closely with School Webmasters and our new Communications Coordinator. He says, “We are very proud of what we do here at Ridgefield. This effort is just another way to share some of the daily successes we get to witness all the time and to help us improve our communication strategies with the community.”
