Lovers of animals & craft beer meet: Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo brings you Brew at the Zoo

Tap Into Your Wild Side at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo "Brew at the Zoo" on October 9

Animal lovers, craft beer aficionados, and food truck fans from near and far will tap into their wild side for the 4th annual "Brew at the Zoo" benefitting Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM (rain or shine). The event will include live entertainment and a fabulous silent auction. Delicious fare will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks offering something for everyone. The last ticket to the zoo will be sold at Noon with the zoo closing at 1:00 PM for this special, adults-only event (must be 21 or older to attend).

"Craft beer continues to grow in popularity, which makes this one of our most popular events," explained Gregg Dancho, zoo director. "This is a perfect addition to your plans for the long holiday weekend!"

Tickets are $40 per person in advance; $50 per person at the door (if available), and may be purchased online at beardsleyzoo.org. Price includes Zoo admission, souvenir tasting glass, and all beer samples. Participating breweries and food trucks will be updated online at beardsleyzoo.org. To volunteer, be a food or wine vendor, sponsor this event, purchase tickets, or donate an auction item, contact Amanda Bolanos at abolanos@beardsleyzoo.org.
