Ridgefield Fred Astaire Dance Studio wins top honors in dance competition

The students and professionals of Ridgefield Fred Astaire Dance Studio danced their hearts out at the Fred Astaire 51th Colonial Classic Interregional Competition held at Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT on August 18 - 20.

The hard work and dedication of more than 25 students, from Ridgefield and surrounding towns, and the staff representing the studio during the three days of continuous dancing brought home the following recognitions:

•              New England Top Studio and Super School Awards
•              1^st Place Top Male Teacher & 8^th Place Top Female Teacher Awards
•              6^th Place Top Male Student Award
•              2^nd Place Top Amateur couple
•              1^st Place in 4 Professional divisions
•              1^st Place in 4 Professional/Amateur divisions
•              2^nd Place in 2 Professional/Amateur divisions
•              3^rd Place in 3 Professional/Amateur divisions
