Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance to host Family Night & Fabulous Workshops with Garrett Minniti

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD)is proud to announce their Family Night and Workshops with RCD Hip Hop founder, Garrett Minniti. 

“Garrett is offering some fabulous and fun workshops in commercial dance styles that support and complement our conservatory-style training.  He appeals to dancers of all ages with his infectious energy," explains Amy Piantaggini, Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance Artistic Director.

7:15-8:30: Family Hip Hop Night: Pizza and Hip Hop with Garrett and your family! $25/family

Friday October 7th, 14th & 21st

7:15 - 8:30 : Commercial Dance 101: I Want to be a Dancer.  An introduction to commercial dance, the differences between concert dance and commercial dance and an overview of the basic tools and skills that you will need to pursue a career as a performing artist. $75/3-week workshop.  Designed for dancers ages 12+.

Friday, October 28th

7:15 – 8:30 : Family Hip Hop Night "Thriller" : Come view and learn the original choreography of the pop culture classic that changed music videos, Michael Jackson's Thriller.  Learn the original choreography and perform and an impromptu Flash Mob on Main Street!  Pizza and refreshments provided.  Costume contest too! $25/family

More to come for November and December! And parents, don’t forget about Garrett’s Thursday 10:45 am Hip Hop drop in class starting in October!  $30/class OR $270 for a 10-class card.  ($200 if purchased before 10/1).
