First Congregational Church is located at the corner of routes 33 and 35, by the Cass Gilbert Fountain.The Garden Ministry of First Congregational Church (FCC) in Ridgefield is hosting a Fall Event and inviting the public to see the garden in its autumn glory on Sunday, October 9, 9am to 11:30am.The William G. Nigh Columbarium and Memorial Garden will be stunning with crisp-air loving plants in hues of pink, purple and white. From the meandering walkway, viewers will see the cultivated beauty of natural and man-made elements in a design granting serenity and peace.All are invited for refreshments served in the fellowship hall and parlor accessed from the garden. The memorial garden can be approached from West Lane through a black iron gate and from the parking lot, through double doors entering the church house.
