In April of 2016 community members and local government officials gathered for Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony welcoming The RVNA Center for Exceptional Care to 27 Governor Street.
Today, Friday, December 2, less than eight months after RVNA opened the doors of their new state of the art facility, the community and RVNA staff and patients are celebrating yet again. Enter Rehab by RVNA, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center.
Once housed in a small room on the main floor of RVNA, the rehab center, now in the building's lower level, is comprised of 2000 square feet of beautiful, and functional space, thanks to the work of Doyle Coffin Architecture. "Our building is now 100% occupied," said RVNA CEO, Theresa Santoro. The move to larger quarters was a natural one; the need and demand for the services rang loud and clear. "We have had 58 rehab visits this week," remarked Santoro.
Rehab by RVNA provides patients expert care and the privacy they need to recover - whether it be from a stroke, accident, illness, or orthopedic operation. There is an open gym with state-of-the-art equipment, parallel bars, and other advanced therapeutic equipment as well as dedicated space and private treatment rooms for occupational, speech and massage therapies.
