Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs officially closes its doors

All Lyn Evans: Potpourri Designs shops will be closing their doors. After 39 years, the new owners and staff made the decision to end the business while it was doing well, about a year after Linda Shotkus (the woman who built the company) past away suddenly. The following is from the current owners, Stan and Jenn Shotkus, on this decision:

"It has been a great 39 year run, and we are sad to say, the end of the Lyn Evans era as you currently know it. Linda's vision, energy and extraordinary talent built this company. And made it a significant presence in the communities we serve. 

Since Linda's sudden passing last year, my daughter, Jenn Shotkus, and our fabulous staff have carried on her legacy: but with my health, and the business becoming more challenging, it's time for me to turn the page and end on a High Note."

The team will be hosting the "biggest event in (their) 36 year history", with the End of Era/Store Closing Sales, taking place in all locations, including Ridgefield's Lyn Evans at 423 Main Street. This sale starts on Wednesday, June 28th, from 9 am to 6 pm, with the entire stock reduced to 30%-70% off. Stop by Lyn Evans in Ridgefield one last time.
