Whip Salon has recruited top area massage therapist, Susi Manheimer of Susi Laura Massage to collaborate in creating the ultimate scalp massage for their clients. "Getting your hair done is a luxurious experience when it's done right," said Whip Salon's General Manager Monique Ferreira. "Since Susi has an impeccable reputation as the go-to massage therapist in town, we thought collaborating on our techniques taught in cosmetology school and in the massage therapy world would create something incredible."

A scalp massage is a part of every hair service at Whip for women and men. It lasts 3 to 4 minutes but can be upgraded to a full 10 minutes for extra relaxation for an additional $6. Whip Salon's stylists are now required to undergo a program designed by Susi Laura Massage and Whip Salon that ensures uniformity and quality in each and every scalp massage to become "Susi Laura" certified.
