Ridgefield voters approved the sale of 10 acre parcel on Sunset Lane (formerly a portion of the “Schlumberger Corporate Headquarters Property”) for the construction of up to 54 age-restricted housing units to Charter Group Partners for the sum of $4,300,000.
There were 1,114 YES votes to 450 NO votes.
The ballot label read as follows:
“Shall the Town of Ridgefield sell to Charter Group Partners, LLC 9.858 acres of land located on Sunset Lane for the construction of up to 54 units, all of which are to be age restricted, for the sum of $4,300,000, with the proceeds to be used to offset the cost of the purchase?”
