Ridgefield Republican Town Committee sets slate and platform

The Ridgefield Republican Party is proud to present the following Fall Election Slate. These candidates are highly qualified, creative, responsive and hard working Ridgefielders. They include both successful incumbents and first time candidates who want to work with our community and other Boards to help solve the complex issues facing Ridgefield and make Ridgefield an even better place to live.

Town Clerk: Barbara Serifilippi
Town Treasurer: Robert Cascella 
Tax Collector: Jane Berendsen-Hill
Board Of Finance: Alex Karsinidi and Michael Raduazzo
Planning & Zoning Commission : Peter Chipouras, John Katz and Mark Zeck
Board of Education: David Cordisco, Sharon D'Orso, James Keibel, Christopher Murray, Tracey O'Connor
Police Commission:   Charles Knoche
Zoning Board of Appeals: Glenn Smith, Duane Barney and Michael Stenko
Board of Assessment  Appeals: Robert Lavelle

Our Platform:

The Republican party's goal is make Ridgefield an even better place to live. The decisions we make today will directly impact what Ridgefield will look like in 2020. Our platform will be focused on the following issues:

1- Keeping Ridgefield Affordable
2- Improving Ridgefield Schools
3- Addressing Overdevelopment and Traffic
4-Improving Town Infrastructure, Services and Safety
5-Improving Town Government Transparency and Accountability

The Republican candidates and Town Committee are looking for volunteers who are passionate about the issues facing Ridgefield and want to make a difference . The Republican Town Committee meets the third Thursday of every month, at Town Hall Lower Conference Room at 7:30 PM. All are welcome. The Next RTC Meeting is Thursday, August 20.
