White House to Host Convening on Americans with Disabilities and the Arts: A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion
On Wednesday, November 18, the White House will host a convening on Americans with disabilities and the arts, a celebration of diversity and inclusion. This event, part of the 25th anniversary year of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the 40th anniversary year of the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), will highlight opportunities and innovative practices for Americans with disabilities to be employed in and participate in the arts.
The Prospector Theater, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, provides meaningful employment to people with disabilities through the operation of a premium, first-run movie theater located in the heart of historic downtown Ridgefield, Connecticut.
