Ridgefield High School students invited to write postcards to Betsy DeVos tomorrow

Ridgefield High School student, Camryn Bell is #publicschoolproud and she is sharing that pride with her peers.

Bell announced on Facebook that tomorrow, Thursday, February 23, there will be an education-centered Information Booth set up in the RHS Student Center during all four lunch waves to provide students information concerning our country's new Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos.

According to Bell, this is not a political discuussion but rather an opportunity for students to learn about the new Education Secretary's policies. Students are invited to write postcards addressed to DeVos using the hashtag #publicschoolproud.

"Both Republicans and Democrats are concerned by her lack of qualifications for the position. This is a state-wide event, and we are using the hashtag #publicschoolproud. If you stop by and write a notecard, try to post a picture on instagram/twitter of what you've written along with the hashtag! If you disagree, let's keep it respectful!" says Bell.
