State Representative John Frey welcomed our Superintendent of Schools Karen Baldwin, and BOE member Fran Walton to the Capitol yesterday for "Connecticut Association of Boards of Educations (CABE) Day on the Hill." He shared this photo and message with us:
I was pleased to welcome Superintendent Karen Baldwin and Chairwoman Frances Walton of the Ridgefield Board of Education to the Capitol today for Connecticut Association of Boards of Educations (CABE) Day on the Hill.
CABE does great work helping local boards come up with the best possible policy for their districts and provide high quality education across the state of Connecticut.
During this time of budget cuts and fiscal uncertainty, it is more important than ever for local leaders to work closely with legislators to ensure our children are receiving a great education and I was glad to continue this dialogue with the superintendent and the BOE.
I look forward to working with them further!
