Ridgefield Police Reports: Pot, MVA, Suspended License

July 7- Ridgefield Police responded to a report of a vehicle at the intersection of Stony Hill Rd and Branchville Rd. The driver of the car was asleep and upon further investigation it was discovered the operator was under the influence of alcohol. It was also realized that the operator was driving with a suspended license. The Ridgefield woman was processed and charged with interfering with duties of a police officer and given a court date.

July 11- Officers responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on North Salem Road. The operator of the car was a juvenile and lost control of the car and crashed into a fence on private property. The operator was then taken to Danbury Hospital to treat minor injuries.

July 12- Three Ridgefield youths were discovered parked on Casey Lane. Upon the officers inspection one youth was found in possession of marijuana paraphernalia. The youth was charged with possession of less than 1/2 an ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

July 20- There was a two car motor vehicle accident on Danbury Road. After questioning it was revealed to officers that a Ridgefield woman operating one of the vehicles was driving with a suspended license. She was issued a misdemeanor summons.
