Police Update: Ridgefield Home Invasion Case

This press release is an update to the home invasion which took place at 29 Oreneca Rd. on 05/24/2012 at approximately 23:30 hours.

During this incident the homeowner was tied up, held at gunpoint, and her jewelry was stolen. Detectives from the Ridgefield Police Department worked in conjunction with the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Unite, the FBI, and various local agencies while investigating this incident, as well as other similar incidents that occurred in the area.

The investigation revealed that three individuals took part in this crime. All three individuals responsible were taken into custody October 2012 in Harrison, NY. Though the investigation it was determined that the below listed individuals were responsible for multiple home invasions not only locally, but up and down the east coast. It should be noted that the intensive investigation thwarted additional home invasions from occurring.

On 06/30/2014 Paul DiBiase (DOB 12-04-1954) pled guilty, and was sentenced in Federal Court on multiple Federal charges and will be serving a minimum of 15 years prison. Daniel DiBiase (DOB 12-12-1956) and Jason Foskey (DOB 02-27-1978), who also took part in the crime, pled guilty on Federal Charges and are awaiting sentence.
