Police Reports: parole violation, MVA, heroin & more

October 10-Ridgefield Police were notified by the Connecticut State Police that they were in custody of a man who had a warrant out in Ridgefield. The Milford man had been charged with criminal mischief and fake statement in the second degree. The man was transported to the Ridgefield Police Department, processed, and released on a $200 bail as well as given a court date.

October 13- Stamford Police brought a man to the Ridgefield Police Department after it had been discovered by Stamford PD he had a warrant out for a violation of parole in Ridgefield. He was then processed by the Ridgefield Police and given a court date.

October 15- Ridgefield Police responded to a two car motor vehicle accident on Ethan Allen Highway. The Ridgefield Fire Department also responded in case of any injuries. Both cars were towed and one operator informed the PD of some knee injury. The operator was given a written warning for failure to grant right of way.

October 17- A Ridgefield woman was in court after she had been charged with heroin possession on September 30. Ridgefield Police responded to medical assist on Mountain Road. After the woman was taken to the hospital, police conducted an investigation which revealed she had been in possession of several bundles of heroin and a hypodermic needle. She was placed under arrest and given a $200 cash bond.
