Ridgefield Police Report Bullets Strike Car for Second Time This Week

Suspicious Incident

On March 26, 2015 at approximately 5:30 pm the Ridgefield Police Department received a call from a resident on Bennetts Farm Rd. regarding a possible bullet hole in their vehicle.  Officers responded and determined that the resident checked their vehicle after learning about the previous incident that was reported to this agency on March 23, 2015.

Officers inspected the vehicle and determined that the vehicle was struck by a single round while parked unoccupied outside of the residence.

The Ridgefield Police Department has been conducting extra patrols in this area since the first incident was reported on March 23rd, and we encourage residents to call (203-438-6531) if any suspicious activity is observed.
