Ridgefield Public Schools address eating disorders for parents

Mark your calendar:

On Friday, May 29, at 9:30 a.m. in the BOE Conference Room - Town Annex (66 Prospect Street), Lisa Colvin, Licensed Professional Counselor, will be presenting "Eating Disorders: The Silent Epidemic" to Ridgefield parents.

We live in a culture over-focused on thinness and dieting. This can make it difficult to recognize when a person's thinking or behavior has become dangerous. The presentation aims to teach parents about eating disorders and their signs and symptoms, what puts a student at risk, common triggers, and how you can help.
