Ridgefield Police; K-9 Loki uncovers pot

July 3- During an event at the Ridgefield Playhouse police observed a 19-year-old male sitting in his vehicle with marijuana in his possession. The investigation revealed the amount was less than ½ oz. He was issued an infraction and released.

July 6- Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for a cell phone violation, the operator of the vehicle, an 18-year-old male, was arrested for three marijuana charges. He was found with a baggie of 3 grams of marijuana on his person; and with the use of RPD K-9 Officer Loki, an additional 22.6 grams in glass jars and an additional 58.8 grams were located inside the vehicle. He was processed and released on a $1,000 cash bond and given a court date of July 29, 2015 at the Danbury Superior Court to answer for the above said charges.
