Orange & pink spray paint reported on residental property in Ridgefield

Criminal Mischief

This morning (October 8, 2015) the Ridgefield Police Department received numerous calls from residents reporting criminal mischief.  The callers reported that vehicles, mailboxes, driveway lights, and signs had been spray painted sometime overnight.  Residents on the following roads in town reported damage- Caudatowa Drive, Ramapoo Road, Armand Road, Old Sib Road, Tackora Trail, Eleven Levels Road, Old West Mountain Road, Green Lane and Bennett's Farm Road.

At this time we believe that the criminal mischief occurred during the evening hours of October 7, 2015 and that the damage was done at random. The spray paint used in these incidents was orange and pink in color.  Though considerable, it is unclear the monetary value of the damage at this time.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 203-431-2345.  This case is under investigation.
