MVA with Injuries

On June 28 at 11:50 am, a male resident of Shelton was operating his Isuzo box truck in the southbound lane of Route 7, approaching the New Road intersection when a male driver from Carmel, NY was operating his Infiniti SUV in the northbound lane of Route 7. The driver of the Invfiniti crossed over the double yellow lines and struck the Isuzo box truck. The driver of the Isuzo was extracted from the vehicle by Ridgefield Fire Department and transported to Danbury Hospital for evaluation. He was later released by the Hosptial. 

As a result of this accident Route 7 was closed for approximately two hours. 

This case remains under investigation.

Warrant Arrest/Harrassment 2nd

On June 29 at 11:05 am, a 22 year old Ridgefield male was processed and fingerprinted at Danbury Superior Court on an arrest warrant for Harrassment 2nd. The original incident occurred on 8/15/15. He was arranged after being processed and a bond was set at $25,000.
