The Ridgefield Police Department is currently investigating multiple larcenies from motor vehicles that have occurred between 07-17-2016 and 07-21-2016. There have been a total of three different vehicles entered during this time period that have been reported to the police. On all occasions a window on the vehicle has been smashed and various items reported stolen.
The incidents occurred at the following locations on the following dates/times:
1. On 07-17-2016 between 5:30 pm and 6:05 pm in the Parks and Recreation parking lot located at 195 Danbury Road.
2. On 07-21-2016 between 6:45 pm and 7:20 pm in the Parks and Recreation parking lot located at 195 Danbury Road.
We would like to remind everyone to always lock and remove all valuables from their vehicles. Anyone who has information regarding these incidents or who observes any suspicious activity is encouraged to call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
