State Police have confirmed that Noah Benjamin Lubitz, 23, of 15 Craigmoor Road North in Ridgefield was killed in a one car accident today, August 15, in the Town of Oxford.
According to the State Police press release, Lubitz was traveling south on Route 67 in the Town of Oxford, approaching at the Seymour town line when the 2006 Toyota Highlander he was driving went off the right side of the road and came to an uncontrolled stop in a culvert. He was transported to Waterbury Hospital by Oxford Ambulance where he was later pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation.
