August 8- Ridgefield Police received a complaint regarding a number of cars parked in the street. Further investigation showed a youth party was taking place. A 19 year old male from Ridgefield was issued a misdemeanor summons for failing to halt possession of liquor to a minor. An 18 year old female from Easton and a juvenile were issued infractions for possession of alcohol by a minor.
August 14- At 12:10am there was a 2 car motor vehicle accident on Danbury Road at the entrance to Ridgefield Crossings. The operator of Traffic Unit #2, a 71 year old woman from Danbury, was ruled to grant right of way to operator Traffic Unit #1, a 43 year old man from Hamden. The operator of Traffic Unit #2 and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to Danbury Hospital for observation.
