October 13 - The Ridgefield Police Department responded to 77 Sunset Lane Unit #6 for a reported MVA car vs. building. Officers arrived to find a vehicle vs. building and one occupant in the vehicle complaining of minor injuries. The sole occupant was transported by Ridgefield Fire Department Paramedics for further treatment.
October 18 - At 10:00 a.m. officers responded to the area of 65 North Street on a reported 1 car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers observed a Nissan Versa overturned onto its side. The operator, a 19 year old male from Ridgefield, was determined to be under the influence and was arrested for the DUI. He was released after posting a $250.00 bond and was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane. He was given a court date of November 2, 2016 at Danbury Superior Court.
