There was something fishy floating around local social media channels yesterday, and it wasn't a Halloween trick.
There were reports of an altercation between two individuals inside of Ridgefield Stop & Shop; one of the individuals allegedly hitting the other with a fish. We checked in with Ridgefield Police Captain Jeff Kreitz for the details.
"Yesterday evening we received a call from a Danbury Road business regarding a dispute between two males. One party reported that he was allegedly struck with a "piece" of fish. No formal complaint on the incident and no charges," said Kreitz.
Please note: Captain Kreitz did not confirm that the incident did indeed happen inside of Stop & Shop.
