Ridgefield Police Arrest 21-Year-Old for Assault & Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder

 

A 21-year-old Ridgefield male was arrested Wednesday evening for assault and criminal attempt to commit murder, police said in a press release on Thursday.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 4:25 pm and found an adult female with injuries sustained from blunt force trauma, according to police. She was transported to the hospital and later released, they said.

The man was held on $1,000,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on November 25, 2016. Police would not release further information to protect the victim’s identity.
