Ridgefield Police Reports: MVA on Pound Street, DUI, Warrant Arrest

February 22 - The Ridgefield Police Department was advised of a motor vehicle accident on West Mountain Road near Oscaleta Road. Investigation revealed that one of the operators involved, a 47 year old woman from Newtown, was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and processed at Ridgefield Police Headquarters. She was released on a $100 cash bond and given a court date of March 10, 2017 at Danbury Superior Court for DUI and Failure to Maintain Lane.

February 26 - The Milford Police Department advised they had a 29 year old man from Trumbull on active Ridgefield Police warrant. He was picked up and brought back to the Ridgefield Police Department and processed. He was released on Bond and given a court date of March 13, 2017 at Danbury Superior Court.

March 2 - Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, a 64 year old man from Southbury failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI, speeding, and Failure to Stay in Proper Lane. He was processed and released on a $100 bond with a court date of March 20, 2017 at 10:00a.m. at the Danbury Superior Court.

March 4 - The Ridgefield Police Department was dispatched to Pound Street for a 2 car accident. Investigation revealed that one of the operators, a 38 year old man from Ridgefield, was under the influence. He was field tested and taken into custody. He was charged with DUI, Failure to Grant ½ of Highway and Driving with a Suspended License. He was processed and released on March 5, 2017 after posting a $200 bond. He was given a court date of March 21, 2017 located at Danbury Superior Court.
