Ridgefield Police Reports: 2 car MVA & fight in parking lot

June 25 - The Ridgefield Police were on routine patrol. The officer came upon 2 males fighting in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. The males were identified as a 52 year old man from Ridgefield and a 19 year old man from Ridgefield. The 52 year old sustained an injury to the right eye and some cuts on his knees. The 19 year old sustained minor cuts on his right knee. Both parties were charged with 3rd degree assault, issued misdemeanor summons, and released. Neither party was transported for their injuries. They were given court dates of July 11, 2017 at the Danbury Superior Court.

June 26 - The operator of motor vehicle 1 failed to grant right of way at the intersection of Barrack Hill and Pin Pack Road leading to a front to side collision with the operator of motor vehicle 2. Motor vehicle 2 crashed, while the operator of motor vehicle 1 failed to give aid to the operator of motor vehicle 2. The operator of motor vehicle 1 left the scene of the accident.
