Ridgefield Police Reports: MVA, DUI & More!

August 29 - 12:15 a.m., The Ridgefield Police Department responded for reports of a 1 car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the vehicle had struck a utility pole. An on scene investigation revealed the operator, a 22 year old man from Ridgefield, was under the influence of alcohol. Drug paraphernalia was also discovered on scene inside the vehicle.

August 30 - At 6:15 p.m., The Ridgefield Police Department took custody of 28 year old man from the Orange County Sheriff/Jail in Goshen, New York. he was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Danbury Superior Court July 5, 2017 on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6th Degree and Larceny 6th Degree.

September 2 - The Ridgefield Police Department was contacted by The Bethel Police Department to confirm an active arrest warrant on a 20 year old woman from Ridgefield. After confirming the active arrest warrant, The Ridgefield Police met with Bethel Police and took her into custody. She was transported back to The Ridgefield Police Department for processing. She was arrested for Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree. She was released after posting bond and is to appear at Danbury Superior Court on September 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
