Fall Owl Prowl on December 2 from 6-7:30pm at Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Rd, Stamford.
Discover the secret lives of our favorite feathered nocturnal friends — the owls. Take a look at an owl's role in the food chain with participants dissecting an owl pellet. Meet our new non-releasable teaching barred owl, Willow, and discover the types of owls that call Connecticut home. Then, head out into the woods to call for our local owl species, who at this time of year will be preparing for winter. Limited enrollment. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
