Pet Preparedness Evening at Norwalk Fire Department

As we continue to watch the response and recovery efforts following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the impact on humans and their pets is significant. There is no question that for so many residents, pets are members of their family. When severe weather strikes, it’s important to have a plan and supplies for everyone, including pets.

Join the Connecticut Emergency Animal Response Service (EARS) and the Norwalk Fire Department as we present a “Pet Preparedness Evening” taking place Wednesday, September 13, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Station 2, 121 Connecticut Ave, Norwalk. This family-friendly event will feature pet rescue demonstrations, emergency and disaster preparedness, information tables, local organizations, K9 Units, and activities for kids (and adults too!). We will also be giving a multimedia talk on pet preparedness, with a chance to answer your questions, starting at 7:00 p.m.! The event is free, open to all, and will take place rain or shine!
