Local Youth Group Hosting Dinner Dance this Saturday

St. Teresa of Avila in Woodbury has a vital and hard working Youth Ministry program whose focus is building community, teamwork, growing in their faith and serving others in their own hometown and beyond.

For the fifth year in a row, the Youth Group will be sending a team of teen youth and adult volunteers to help paint homes, build ramps and serve the underprivileged on a Mission Trip through GROUP Work Camps. This year, they will serve on a week long trip to Woonsocket, RI in July.

As part of their fundraising efforts, they will be hosting a Dinner Dance and Silent Auction at the Painted Pony Restaurant on Saturday, February 11th at 6:00pm.

A buffet dinner will be offered, as well as live music featuring ROOT SIX. Several door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will also be part of the evening. It has proven to be an entertaining night out, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to take your sweetheart out just before Valentine’s Day.

Anyone interested in purchasing a $45 ticket may contact Sandy Vas at 203-470-0975  or email at st.teresa.youthministry@gmail.com
