This summer has been rolling along. The kids are having a wonderful time sleeping in, heading to the pool, catching up on play dates and spending lots of time outside. I work from home mostly, and I'm always amazed when summer vacation comes around at how many times I have to go to the grocery store or Farmer's Market because my kids are always hungry and the refrigerator and pantry are never fully stocked!
The Southbury Food Bank's families and clients are feeling the same, but cannot always just run to the local grocery store to get food.
If you can, please remember these folks who may be struggling in our area with basic necessities.
Here are the critical needs and shelves that need stocking today.
