Wesson Energy Wore Orange to Fight Hunger

                         WESSON ENERGY WORE ORANGE TO FIGHT HUNGER

The entire staff of Wesson Energy in Waterbury wore orange T-shirts on September 4th to help ‘raise awareness, fight hunger’ in support of September being named nationwide as Hunger Action Month.

With the ambition of “Wearing Orange for Hunger Relief” in Connecticut, the staff also collected 275 pounds of food and personal care items for presentation to the Connecticut Food Bank. Food items collected by the Wesson Energy staff included fruit juices, soups, rice, canned vegetables and fruits, pastas and sauces. Personal care items include shampoos, conditioners, dental care items, diapers, detergent, deodorant, shaving items and hairbrushes.
