Bird Feeders in Winter

The Southbury Library will host Angela Dimmitt for a presentation on bird feeders in winter on Friday, February 19 at 2pm in the Kingsley room. Angela will helps us identify birds that you might typically see at your bird feeders and discuss which type of feeders and feed will attract particular birds.

Angela Dimmitt has been birding most of her life, growing up in Southern England. She now lives in New Milford, having retired there after many years in Manhattan. She is a member of Litchfield Hills Audubon Society, the Western Connecticut Bird Club and the Connecticut Ornithological Association, and is also a serious gardener.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.

Registration is required. Please call the library at 203-262-0626 ext. 130.
