BentFest 2016 at the Audubon Center This Sunday, October 2

BENTFEST 2016 Family Festival at the Audubon Center at Bent of the River in Southbury, Sunday, October 2, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine. Fundraiser to feature birds of prey, waterfowl and bird-banding demonstrations, gourmet food trucks, craft beers, “Cups of Kindness” lemonade stand, games including “Conservation Corn Hole” and “Ecosystem Jenga”, picnicking, river and nature walks, hay rides, scavenger hunts, kids’ activities, bird watching, and more.

Live music will be performed by the Jon Slow Band. No pets permitted. Admission is $10/car paid by cash or check only at gate.

The non-profit Audubon Center is located in the Southbury hamlet of South Britain, off Route 172 at 185 East Flat Hill Road, 0.3 miles from corner of General Store and South Britain Congregational Church.
