The Southbury Historical Society and the and the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford invite you to Astronomy Night on Friday, October 1.
The event takes place at the Ludorf Barn (560 West Purchase Road in Southbury) on Saturday, October 1 from 8 – 10 PM.
A variety of telescopes will be available for stargazing and members of the ASGH will be on-site for questions and assistance. Join us as we learn about the wonders of the night sky. To minimize light pollution, flashlights with red filters are preferred, but not required, and should be turned off during stargazing. Laser pointers are not allowed. Cost is $5/person. Rain date is Saturday, October 8.
