HARRYBROOKE PARK TO HOST STILL RIVER JAM FUNDRAISER SEPTEMBER 9TH FEATURING ‘SHOT DOWN’ PREMIER MODERN COUNTRY BAND
New Milford, CT, August 25, 2017 – On Saturday, September 9 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., the nonprofit Harrybrooke Park in New Milford will bring live music to the park with the “Still River Jam”. This event will feature one of Connecticut’s top modern acoustic country bands, “Shot Down”, plus great vendors and great food for purchase from JoJo’s Deli in New Milford.
“This is a brand new event for the park,” states Harrybrooke Park Executive Director Billy Buckbee. “It will feature terrific live music in a family-friendly outdoor park environment in the late summer.”
Harrybrooke Park, and the on-property Harden House Museum is a 501©3 non-profit organization and does not receive funding from the Town of New Milford, the state or the U.S. Federal Government. The park’s operation is fully dependent on donations and private funding.
Harrybrooke Park provides a safe, tranquil place for families and individuals to walk, run, ride a bike or simply sit and take in the peaceful park setting. The mission of the park is to serve the greater New Milford area community at no cost to the Town of New Milford or its taxpayers.
Tickets for the Still River Jam event on Saturday, September 9th, are available in advance for $20/person and include one beverage ticket. Online tickets are available at Universe.com/stillriverjam and all proceeds will directly benefit Harrybrooke Park. The cost of tickets at the gate will also be $20 on September 9th.
