The National Weather Service (NOAA) is predicting a Wintry Mix tonight, Friday, December 16 into Saturday, December 17.
- Low pressure is expected to bring accumulating snow Tonight into early Saturday morning.
- Snow could become moderate in intensity towards daybreak.
- Snow mixes with sleet and freezing rain from south to north Saturday morning.
- A transition to plain rain is expected along the coast by mid to late morning...with a more gradual transition northward into the interior through the afternoon.
Cold ground temps may present a road icing threat for 1 to 2 hours after air temperatures have risen above freezing.
