The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Northern Fairfield and New Haven Counties as well as Northern Westchester. There is potential for brief periods of a wintry mix tonight, Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1.
We checked in with Gary Lessor of WCSU Weather Center who says rain is expected to develop around midnight tonight with possible sleet.
Tomorrow, the coast will be hit with rain and areas inland should prepare for a mix of sleet, snow and rain. Overnight tomorrow (Friday, March 31 into Saturday) up to 3 inches of wet snow are expected inland. Precipitation is expected to end by mid-morning on Saturday.
