As part of their "Try in July" promotion, the gym, located at 730 main street south, southbury, is offering 1 FREE Personal Training Session (JULY only) for new clients.

According to Mike Subach, Training Manager at the gym, forfeiting the weight training will cause you to burn only muscle and thus force the Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) to down regulate resulting in little to no fat loss.

"Steady low-intensity cardio, traditionally thought of as fat loss techniques, are only beneficial if they are added on top of an already established weight training routine," says Subach.

Trainers at the gym will work will each client to create a training regimen that meets their fitness needs and goals while considering their busy schedule.

"Those seeking to achieve optimum fitness need to look at their training in a more efficient manner. This is looking at our available time first and designing our program based on that," Subach explains.

After your free 60 minute training session, the gym invites you to reward yourself a sauna and hot shower, and a healthy drink from the juice bar (Southbury location only).
